Mikeys teammate, Tyler, has a little brother just getting started in goaltending. Hayden is a mite skater and tonight was his first time in net with his new goalie gear on. I grabbed a few images to share:

Our 2011 Christmas Eve skate. Kids played a scrimmage with siblings, parents and coaches on the ice as well.

HomeSchool Hockey Days – December 2011

Muskegon Chiefs vs. Kensington Valley

We stopped by Alex’s game in Muskegon on the way home from Big Rapids to catch his game against Kensington Valley. Awesome game with full ice domination by the Chiefs! I think the score was something like 6-1 or something equally embarrassing. Grabbed a few shots of the boy and his skater minions. Shot through glass so you may see quite a bit of post-processing.
Game 4 – Big Rapids Tournament 2011

Final game of the tournament against Midland. Won this 4-2 and finished the tournament series with 3 wins and 1 loss. Team heads into the next stretch of divisional games at 17-3-2 with 8 shutouts.
Not too many pictures from this game and I know for certain that I didn’t get a chance to grab a shot of each player. Hopefully over the course of the weekend, I did manage to get at least a few shots of every child on the team. If not…there’s still plenty of season left.
